YOUTH COURSES

The Bardic - Ovate - Druid youth courses. These are free for all members and include the guidance of a mentor. They are ideal for students below the age of 18 (children and teenagers), but they can be taken by adults as well.

Youth courses are available as of the age of 13 (unless local law in your country dictates otherwise). Students below the age of 13 can also participate but are required to provide a parental approval slip.

BARDIC YOUTH COURSE

While this course is particularly intended for young students of the age 18 or younger, it also provides a sound foundational course for any adult interested in Druidry. This course will discuss several basics of Celtic traditions and Druid lore that you can apply regardless of your age. Among the topics discussed are the Celtic festivals, tribal life of the Celts, roles of the Bard and Druid, Celtic virtues and traditions, Celtic history and mythology, and much more. Each student is assigned a mentor to help guide you through your studies in this course. If you're not sure whether or not this course is for you, please have a look at the BARDIC YOUTH COURSE PREVIEW (PDF file opening in a new window).

Depending on the law of your country and your current age, parental approval may be required (this differs from country to country, but in most cases parental approval is only required under the age of 13).

On completion of the Course students under the age of 18 will qualify for a certificate bearing the course title. Adults completing the course will receive a certificate bearing the titling ‘Foundational Course 1 in Druidry’.
